Christmas Breakfast Tradition

Every Christmas morning for as long as I can remember, I woke up to the smell of one of my favorite breakfast delicacies - a big puffy pancake! We got the recipe out of the first cookbook I ever owned - it was a kids cookbook and this recipe was instantly one of my favorites!
Nowadays I don’t wake up to the smell of it since I’m the one baking it, but I do hope it will be just one more thing my kids look forward to on Christmas morning every year!
If you want to make this treat for yourself or your family as it serves 4, here’s what you will need:
Ingredients: 2 tablespoons butter or margarine 2 eggs 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup milk 1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 400
Grease a 9” glass pie plate
In a medium bowl, mix the ingredients until well blended.
Pour mixture into pie plate and bake for 25-30 minutes
Take a look while its baking, it always looks so cool and kids (and kids at heart like me) especially love it!
Serve by cutting into fourths and add your favorite topping whether it be syrup, fresh fruit, powdered sugar, or even whipped cream and mini chocolate chips!
What do you like to have on Christmas morning? Leave me a comment so I can add it to our menu!
Kindly,
Kristin
