Government assistance does not cover diapers.
Now with the government shut down, people receiving government assistance will soon be receiving their last assistance payments.
Parents who were already struggling with diaper needs will now be forced to choose between diapers and food for their babies. Politics aside, NO CHILD should endure these struggles. I encourage you, next time you’re at the grocery or Costco or on Amazon, add a box of diapers or formula to your cart. You can drop them off at one of their many drop off locations around Atlanta, or you can donate directly on their website at helpingmamas.org. You can also make them your charity of choice at smile.amazon.com! You may not make a BIG difference in the world like MLK Jr, but you can make a great difference to a little child of Atlanta!
